About
World Help Ukraine
In the last 3 weeks of the devastating war Ukraine and it’s many cities such as Kiev, Mariupol, Irpin, suffered destruction of 90% of its buildings as well as catastrophic loss of life. Since the war, many horrible tradgedies have occured including the deliberate bombings of a major Maternity and Children’s Hospital by Russian forces.
Help Ukraine is a Facebook page that has been created since the start of this war, with the help of Ukrainian, German and Polish partners abroad devoted to providing emergency resources to Ukraine. Since this war has started, we have organized and shipped over $30K of life saving supplies directly to Kiev Hospital. This Facebook Page has also helped raise $200K for the purchase and delivery of protective vests and plates for ordinary citizens to defend and protect themselves.
Our work is far from over as what we do is just a drop in the bucket as the war rages with more severity now not sparing pregnant women and children. Below is how you can help.
What we Do
HELP SPECIFIC CAUSES
To Help Ukraine in the most efficient way we separated our Ukrainian and international volunteers into several groups each dedicated to specific urgent humanitarian crises in Ukraine. We separated our projects into 5 main categories.
Projects to Donate
Collect and compile Survivor testimonies for Hague Convention
We have watched in horror as the Russian military commits unspeakable war crimes against Ukrainian civilians. With the help of psychologists and legal experts, we are collecting, recording, transcribing, and documenting survivor testimonies to create a record for the Human Rights Court at the Hague. We will work relentlessly to bring these criminals to justice!
Funds for Emergency Evacuation & Housing of women, children, and disabled people from red zones
Nearly five million people have fled Ukraine, but more are fleeing or are displaced every day. We help as many as we can with daily evacuation. Funds collected will be used to purchase buses, gas, and supplies as well as secure shelter along the evacuation routes.
